BEEN SPOTTING lovely mason jars as dinner homeware lately.

What I really liked is their self-service concept… choose your preferred mix of pasta/toppings/sauce, scribble your order down and head to the cashier for payment. Their homemade iced lemon tea is worth mentioning!

IMG-20140719-00266_FotorThis unassuming cafe along Dunlop Street in Little India features a rustic outlook, with its peeling paint walls and wooden crate tables. Tried the red snapper with creamy mushroom sauce. Fairly satisfying, nothing too raving but the vibe was great and I enjoyed my iced cranberry orange tea – in the pretty mason jar.

IMG-20140729-00286_FotorStumbled upon this cosy cafe whilst seeking shelter in the heavy tropical rain. Lounged about with a magazine and a jar of iced tea, though sadly it was nothing special. A tad too much sour lemon for my liking in this one!
